“All that is required for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing” -Edmund Burke

Such are the words that have inspired the creation of this blog. With the widespread abandonment of both the Catholic faith and traditional values, western culture has become increasingly godless and appears to have lost its sense of morality. As a consequence, young people today find themselves in a dangerous and hostile environment. Immorality has become routine and commonplace; it is often celebrated rather than condemned. Abortion has become the key moral issue of our day, and it continues to empower what some have called the “culture of death” by the many lives it claims daily. Modern literature, entertainment, and media continue to spread confusion among today’s youth to such an extent that many find themselves lost. Many find they no longer have faith.

The attack of secular humanism has wrought destruction upon western culture, and continues to threaten its ultimate enemy—the Catholic Church. Today there is confusion even within the Church, and it is often difficult to know where to turn. With many churchmen compromising with that which is clearly contrary to God’s moral law, we must fall back upon the bedrock and treasury of the Church’s tradition, all the while maintaining our communion with Rome, in order to survive this storm which imperils so many souls today.

In response to the moral confusion abundant in today’s society, we have decided to provide young men and women with an alternative. While our small voice might seem insignificant compared to the chaos of the world, we believe that our efforts and devotion will contribute in some little way to the growing number of people willing to stand up for the truth. Mother Theresa put it perfectly when she said: “We cannot all do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

We entrust our apostolate to the most Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary, humbly begging their assistance and intercession. Our content includes commentary on the lives of the saints, treatises on authentic femininity and masculinity, traditional sermons, and other articles intended to edify the faithful and encourage them on the path to holiness. We hope, through this blog, to inspire today’s Catholic youth to persevere in their faith and continue to grow into true men and women of God. We hope to inspire our readers to sanctity.

Oh Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.
